Ken Block dies in snowmobile crash

The official Instagram channel of Hoonigan in a post earlier on Tuesday announced that Ken Block is no more.

The action sports star and legendary car drifter was recently at his ranch in Utah.

The action sports star was riding on a steep slope in the Mill Hollow area outside Woodland, Utah at around 2:00 PM

The Wasatch County Sheriff's Office confirmed of Block's demise.

Block was said to be riding with a group of friends but was alone when the accident took place.

Having begun his rallying career in 2005, Block was named Rookie of the Year in the Rally America Championship.

He competed in the World Rally Championship and won several rallycross medals at the X Games.

In 2016 he appeared in an episode of the BBC’s rebooted Top Gear, driving around London with actor and host Matt LeBlanc.
